"FPO's programs and services have greatly impacted the way I parent my son. I always felt inadequate as a mom so when I experienced challenges I always kept it to myself out of shame and guilt. Coming to the meetings was empowering and encouraging because other moms would share their struggles  and also offer suggestions to help me overcome mine. I began to feel empowered and encouraged instead of ignoring problems and feeling defeated.  I would begin to focus on the solution and not the problem. I became very involved with what was going on with my son by spending time with him and taking him on playdates. I gained confidence in parenting and now I look to encourage other parents.  FPO is an organization where we have cried together and laughed together."
